Structural modifications have been made to the aisoldi-type scaffold of alpha-glucosidase inhibitors to define potential strategies for the design of active-site directed thiocarbamate analogues of aisoldi-type molecules. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to material-cutting devices and more particularly to a device for mounting, adjusting and terminating a cutting blade on a rotary cutting tool.

2. Description of the Prior Art

In rotary cutting tools, such as grinding and cutting wheels, the cutting edge of the cutting blade is typically attached to a central hub which is held in a carrier mounted on a motor shaft. The operator of such devices typically must adjust the cutting blade to the correct cutting depth of the desired workpiece.

In the past, this adjustment of the cutting blade has been accomplished by the use of a metal blade-holding fixture into which the cutting edge of the blade is introduced or forced. The holder is set by the operator to the correct depth of the cut.

This method has several disadvantages. The use of the metal holder results in a substantial amount of noise due to vibration of the holder during the cutting operation. In addition, the metal holding fixture is expensive and frequently worn.

In order to provide a holder which is flexible and inexpensive, the use of a thin, stiff plate which holds the cutting blade in a stable position has been suggested. In U.S. Pat. No. 0b46394aab
